Downloading your cover

A watermark is added on all covers you see on our website, to protect them from theft. The files you buy and download are free of watermarks.
After checking out, the download links for the all the files of your artwork will appear. Click and download.
Please download also and read the “READ ME” file, which contains useful information about your purchase.
After you download your files, it may be saved to your desktop, a specific downloads folder, or the last place you saved a file, depending on your browser and your preferences.

If you have any problems with downloading please contact us.

All files open with with any program that supports images. You can also view them in a web browser by dragging and dropping them in the browser window.

Usage

When your download finishes you will own 4 images in JPG format*:

A. A 3000×3000 px file – suitable for digital distribution platforms/e-shops (cd baby, soundcloud, tunecore, iTunes, etc)
B. A 500×500 px file suitable for your web communication (social media, e-mail, etc)
C. A cd size file – 12x12cm (4,7×4,7 inch) suitable for the cover of a physical (jewel case)
D. A vinyl size file – 32x32cm (12×12 inch) suitable for the cover of your physical vinyl disc
E. A Facebook cover with your artwork

A. 3.000×3000 file (web usage)

In order for the distribution platforms and stores to accept your artwork, it needs to meet several technical criteria.
It must be in JPG (or GIF) format, perfect square, at least 1600 x 1600 pixels in size, in RGB Color Mode (this includes black and white images), and for best results you need a resolution of of 300 dpi.
Your download contains a 3000×3000 pixel jpg / RGB image of 300 dpi.

B. Web size file (web usage)

Use your 500×500 pixel jpg image to communicate your music on social media, websites, newsletters, e-mails etc.
Use this image also as a social media profile photo (Facebook, Twitter, etc)
Your download contains a 500×500 pixel jpg / RGB image of low resolution for internet use.

C. Jewel case size file (printable quality)**

Use this 12x12cm (4,7×4,7 inch) file as a cover for your jewel case cd.
Your download contains a 12x12cm image of a printable quality (300 ppi).

D. A vinyl size file (printable quality)**

If you want to make vinyl discs use this 32x32cm file, made to match the dimensions of vinyls.
Your download contains a 32x32cm (12×12 inch) file, suitable for the cover of your physical vinyl disc, in a printable quality (300 ppi).

E. A Facebook cover with your artwork***

Use your Facebook cover image with the artwork as a cover for your Facebook page.
Your download contains a 815×315 jpg / RGB image of low resolution for internet use.

Extra Pack

With some extra charge we can design and send you the following files:

A. A Twitter header file – to use on the top of your Twitter profile
B. A Facebook event cover file – to use on a Facebook event
C. A Youtube video static image file – to use when you create a video with your music for Youtube
D. A Youtube channel art file – to use as a cover for your Youtube channel
E. Two audio cassette cover templates – ready to print (you can even print at home) templates for a cassette (with and without panel)

All of the above can be designed for you with or without your cover text on.
We can also add the Parental Advisory logo on your cover, with some extra charge.

*All images contain no text. If you would like to add text to your cover read more here. 
 ** Please note that if you want to make physical discs you need to design the rest of the artwork.
We only provide the image of the cover in high/printable quality.
***Please note that sometimes dimensions and proportions are hard to match, so for the Facebook cover our designers have carefully chosen the most interesting part of the artwork.

Please test before you print!
Our covers are carefully made and taken care of, in order to offer you a great quality product. But, if you intend to print the artwork, we recommend that you print a test copy first. We take no responsibility for bad printing results. Please bear in mind that the quality of prints depends a lot on the printer factory and its equipment, the kind of paper etc.

If you decide to print your cover in a large format (on banners, posters etc) we suggest to use the Vinyl size file.
